SSC CGL Exam is considered to be one of the biggest government exams for Graduate students in India. SSC CGL Exam eligibility mandates a candidate to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution. Candidates between the age of 18-27 are eligible to apply for CGL exam.

The SSC CGL Tier I Exam contains four subjects, namely, General Intelligence and Reasoning, English Language, Quantitive Aptitude and General Awareness. The examination consists of 100 questions with 2 marks each and a negative marking of 0.50 marks.

SSC CGL Exam Analysis: Tier II Subject Wise Previous Year Analysis

It is also known as the Mains Exam. There is a negative marking of 0.25 Marks for each wrong answer. The Tier II Exam consists of a written objective-multiple choice exam in four sections:

A pen and paper offline exam in which candidates write in the form of essay writing and letter writing, precis writing and application writing. The exam can be done in Hindi or English.

SSC CGL Exam Analysis: Tier IV (Data Entry Skill Test/ Computer Proficiency Test)

  • Data Entry Speed Test: Candidates enter data at the speed of 2000 key presses in 15minutes.
  • Computer Proficiency Test: This test cover topics of Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and making Slides.
