One of the things we asked WhatsApp for this year 2020 was a kind of alert to accept or not to get us into a group of the messaging application. It seems that some developer is diligent to MovilZona, since the application has just been updated to precisely prevent you from being added to WhatsApp groups without your permission .
WhatsApp group conversations can be very annoying when you get into them without your consent. The fact is that almost everyone has been on the receiving end of those lame jokes, irritating poems and images with the dreaded “good morning” messages.
Mainly because getting out of it is usually a bit violent in addition to the fact that the mobile is filled with notifications on a continuous basis (something that can be solved by silencing them). Finally, those responsible for the messaging app has implemented a solution for this on the platform, as we advanced in the beta of the app days ago.
Now we have a new option in the configuration settings that allows you to choose who can add you to group chats, and fortunately, also prevent you from being added to WhatsApp groups.

Adjust WhatsApp So They Don’t Put You In Groups Without Your Permission
If you do not want to be added to WhatsApp groups without your prior permission, you must update the app to the latest version and follow the steps below:
- Open WhatsApp on your phone and access Settings> Accounts> Privacy.
- Click on the new Groups menu and select the option that suits you, which establishes who can put you in WhatsApp groups:
- Nobody (this prevents someone from adding you to a group without an invitation)
- My contacts (only your contacts can add you to a group without an invitation)
- Anyone (anyone can add it to a group without an invitation)
The new WhatsApp privacy feature to avoid getting into WhatsApp groups without your permission is beginning to be implemented gradually in different countries. Users from India can already make use of this wonderful setting, but in many countries this update is not yet available, neither for iPhone nor for Android.
Many countries are hoping that it will appear this week to be able to end, finally (never better) to all those people who do not stop putting us in groups, exposing our private data and causing discomfort continuously.
