What Is Bitcoin And Who Is Behind This Network

On November 1, 2008, the idea of an electronic currency system was presented based on a mailing list crypto peer network (peer to peer), a structure in which all participants are at the same level. This publication contained a white paper that served as the basis for the development of open-source software called Bitcoin, today Bitcoin Core, the following year.

Both the whitepaper and the program were published under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, whose true identity, whether it hides a programmer or a group of programmers, remains to this day unknown. The software code is still free and open so that anyone can see and modify it. Since then, a large number of users have contributed to the common development of the Bitcoin project.
