Samsung unveiled its flagship SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 series of mobiles which comes with new innovations as they always do; the latest gadgets come up with a punched screen which is the latest upgrade which eliminated the notch screen trend.
Three models SAMSUNG GALAXY S10, SAMSUNG GALAXY S10+ & SAMSUNG GALAXY S1Oe devices were launched in February 2019 and comes with 4G Network Technology with a speed HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps, LTE-A (7CA) Cat20 2000/150 Mbps. S10 devices have Single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) with Samsung Pay (Visa, MasterCard certified) and IP68 dust/water proof (up to 1.5m for 30 minutes).
They have advanced their mobile touch screens to Dynamic AMOLED capacitive touch screen which support 16M colours. S10 comes with Android 9.0 (Pie) and One UI; and Exynos 9820 (8 nm) – EMEA chipset with Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) – USA/LATAM, China.
All devices are powered up with Octa-core CPU (2×2.73 GHz Mongoose M4 & 2×2.31 GHz Cortex-A75 & 4×1.95 GHz Cortex-A55) – EMEA with GPU Mali-G76 MP12 – EMEA and Adreno 640 – USA/LATAM, China. The internal storage varies from device to device but their expandable memory supports microSD card, up to 512 GB (uses SIM 2 slot) – dual SIM model only.
Camera can be considered as the key highlight on these flagship SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 devices. Both S10 and S10+ comes up with 3 main cameras a wide camera with 12 MP, f/1.5-2.4, 26mm (wide), 1/2.55″, 1.4µm, Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS and telephoto camera 12 MP, f/2.4, 52mm (telephoto), 1/3.6″, 1.0µm, AF, OIS, 2x optical zoom and an ultra wide camera 16 MP, f/2.2, 12mm (ultrawide), 1.0µm while S10e doesn’t have the telephoto camera. Video captures with a speed of 2160p@60fps, 1080p@240fps, 720p@960fps, HDR, dual-video rec.
Front camera of flagship SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 devices comes up with 10 MP, f/1.9, 26mm (wide), 1.22µm, Dual Pixel PDAF for all three devices which support Dual video call, Auto-HDR and video capture speed with 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps.
S10+ has one extra front camera with 8 MP, f/2.2, 22mm (wide), 1.12µm, depth sensor. All the devices come with a 3.5 mm Jack with 32-bit/384kHz audio, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic and Dolby Atmos/AKG sound.
Other communication features like WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, FM Radio (USA & Canada only) and a USB 3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector which supports Fast battery charging 15W, Fast wireless charging 15W and Power bank/Reverse wireless charging 9W.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 devices are featured with ANT+, Bixby natural language commands and dictation while S10e doesn’t have the feature of Samsung DeX (desktop experience support) while the other two devices (S10 and S10+) support it.
